Welcome to Clive Vale Nursery School- safe and secure childcare in a friendly nursery setting for children aged 2 to 8 in Hastings, East Sussex. Established in 1986, we are proudly going into our 23rd year of providing high quality, stimulating childcare- a service that both Sian and Bill Hamilton are committed to continue.

There are no sign-on fees and all prospective parents are welcome to visit our school and view our amenities at anytime without an appointment.

We offer a flexible approach to childcare with our main focus on the child’s enjoyment - which in-turn, makes learning more enjoyable. We operate an inclusive setting and all children are welcome to join us. At Clive Vale we believe it’s our duty to ensure all children have a positive experience, so if your child has any special requirements we’ll be more than happy to accommodate. We cater for children who are hard of hearing and can successfully communicate using Makaton sign language, we also maintain constant contact with professional bodies in speech and language – ensuring communication is not hindered in any way.

Our dedicated team consists of 12 members of staff who are all fully qualified in childcare and paediatric first-aid. Every child is allocated a key worker who stays with your child throughout their time here, creating a profile book that records their progress which parents are welcome to look at whenever they wish. We also hold parents evenings and you will be provided with regular newsletters to ensure you’re kept up-to-speed with your child’s progression. Rest assured we carry out comprehensive CRB police checks on all staff.

Safety of the children is of paramount importance to Clive Vale Nursery School. We are fully insured and undergo regular health and safety checks by the local fire brigade and the council to government standards. And for additional peace of mind, we have installed CCTV to both the front and rear of the property.
